Award Categories, Eligibility Criteria & Nomination Proforma

1. Award for Excellence in Academics (AYUSH)

Objective: To honour outstanding academic contributions in Ayurveda and other AYUSH systems, including teaching, academic leadership, curriculum innovation, and contributions to academic quality. Preferred area of expertise in wellness with reference to ‘diet as medicine’, ‘illness to wellness’, and similar concepts.

Eligibility / Who Can Apply:

  • Faculty members of recognised AYUSH colleges
  • Academic administrators
  • Institutions may nominate

Qualifying Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years academic service
  • Evidence of teaching excellence
  • Publications / learning resources
  • Contribution at state / national level

2. Award for AYUSH Startup Innovation

Objective: To recognize innovative startups promoting AYUSH healthcare, wellness technology, medicinal products, digital health tools, or community health solutions, medical and wellness tourism activities, employment generation in wellness industry.

Eligibility / Who Can Apply:

  • AYUSH-based or AYUSH-aligned startups
  • Entrepreneurs developing AYUSH products / services

Qualifying Requirements:

  • Minimum one year of operation
  • Demonstrated innovation
  • Social / clinical / economic impact
  • Focus on wellness and wellness related products and services

3. Award for Research Excellence in AYUSH

Objective: To honour high-quality research advancing scientific understanding, clinical outcomes, drug development, or public health impact within AYUSH with emphasis on improving wellness quotient amongst public.

Eligibility / Who Can Apply:

  • Researchers, academicians, clinicians, PhD scholars
  • Collaborative research teams

Qualifying Requirements:

  • Published research work or completed project
  • Novel scientific contribution with emphasis on wellness
  • Ethical & scientific rigor

4. Award for Promotion of AYUSH Internationally

Objective: To recognize individuals / organizations contributing to global visibility of Ayurveda & AYUSH.

Eligibility:

  • Practitioners working abroad
  • Educators, wellness professionals
  • NGOs, cultural bodies founded, headed or led by AYUSH professionals

Qualifying Requirements:

  • International impact: workshops, courses, collaborations
  • Evidence-based AYUSH propagation in the field of wellness

5. Award for AYUSH Manufacturing Excellence

Objective: To honour AYUSH manufacturers for quality production, GMP compliance, and innovation.

Eligibility:

  • Licensed AYUSH manufacturing units
  • Founded or headed by AYUSH professionals

Qualifying Requirements:

  • GMP certified
  • Product safety & quality
  • No pending regulatory violations

6. Award for AYUSH Social Media Influencer

Objective: To recognize AYUSH professionals who are creators and promoters of authentic, evidence‑based AYUSH content.

Eligibility:

  • Active content creators (minimum 12 months)
  • Qualified and registered AYUSH practitioners

Qualifying Requirements:

  • Educational, responsible wellness-oriented content
  • Positive impact, engagement metrics
  • Ethical communication
